The responses help in the construction of Dance Collections Database (DCD) a free, online database matching your archive materials with potential institutions. We seek feedback from ALL dance personnel from around the country and across the concert, commercial, heritage-based, and social dance worlds.
Survey concludes on February 13th
DCD is a NEA-funded consortia project with Dance Heritage Coalition, Los Angeles Dance Foundation, and Arizona State University.
Green St. Studios Emerging Artists Program

Green Street Studios announces the Summer 2012 cycle of its
Emerging Artists Award Program.

This program is designed to provide infrastructure for choreographers, to create new work, and to provide deep, ongoing mentorship between experienced and early-to-mid-career choreographers. The Emerging Artist Award provides the opportunity for New England-based choreographers to be in residence at Green Street Studios from March to June 2012. Green Street Studios will provide choreographers with Mentor/Choreographers, and will provide 40 hours of rehearsal space per awardee for the creation of new work. The new works by the awardees will premiere in a fully produced, shared concert at Green Street Studios on June 15th & 16th 2012 at 8pm (dress rehearsal June 14th at 8pm).

Dance for World Community Festival Application

2012 DWC FESTIVAL APPLICATION
APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 15, 2012
Dance for World Community is now accepting Performer & Instructor applications for the 2012 DWC Festival!
The 2012 Festival will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 with performances and classes from Noon-6:30pm.
Applications will be accepted from any dance artists with public performance experience. We hope to see applications for performers and instructors in a variety of dance forms from modern to hip-hop, from square dance to salsa, from Irish Step to African.
New to the 2012 Festival is our Dance Film Tent, for which we are accepting submissions of dance video/film produced specifically and exclusively for film presentation. This does not include documentation of live dance performances. Please contact Celeste Radosevich with questions about the Dance Film Tent.
