Izizwe Dance Studio is a pre-professional dance studio offering cutting edge training, youth empowerment, and artistic greatness. The studio has been in business for less than two years and is looking to expand into a new community this coming fall!
Our studio is non-competitive, focusing on dance technique, youth empowerment, and artistic greatness.
We are currently seeking a marketing and outreach intern to help with our move. We seek someone looking to build their resumes, take free classes, and possibly create future jobs and opportunities within our organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Creating and assisting with targeted marketing campaigns (newsletters/print advertising, social media)
Researching and developing offsite prospects, performance venues, and community performance opportunities.
Research outreach opportunities within underprivileged areas in the community

2 hrs/week
Commission included for any successful marketing campaign

The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts invites applications for the position of Executive Director.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Flynn and is charged with external and community relations, fund-raising, strategic planning, and artistic and programming policy, as well as operational, financial, and administrative management.
With an annual budget of $7.7 million, the Flynn has 35 FTE staff members, as well as box office and front of house staff, production crew, and teaching artists. Each year it employs over 270 people, including full and part-time employees. It receives broad support from its community with a pool of nearly 400 volunteers and a dedicated Board of Trustees of 27.

Jacob’s Pillow Dance is seeking a full-time Major Gifts Officer to join its Development team. Responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 175-200 donors and prospects. This position will be based in New York City with travel within the New York- metropolitan area as well as New England and offer residence on the Pillow campus during the 10-week Summer Festival .The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for cultivating and stewarding assigned prospects, as well as research to identify new ones, and will travel frequently to engage and solicit a variety of donors. As needed, the Major Gifts Officer will support the Director of Development, Director, and board leadership in their fundraising efforts and goals. In addition, s/he will also help to plan and execute events focused on the Pillow’s strategic donor initiatives and on expanding a culture of philanthropy.

Responsibilities include: accounts receivables, accounts payable, petty cash reconciliation, and filing for the Business office; contributed revenue recognition as needed for the Development team; and data systems management for Operations. Non-profit experience a plus. Required education:
