Southern Maine dance studio is looking for guest artists for their Nutcracker production. Seeking a Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier couple for performances November 25, 26 in Kittery, Maine. Studio Manager — Green Street Studios
The Studio Manager shall administer the space and resources of Green Street Studios, and is charged with creating a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for dancers and community members. In addition to administrative tasks such as coordination of renters, the Studio Manager shall be responsible for overseeing general repair and maintenance for GSS. At least 15 hours per week shall be designated Office Hours during which the Studio Manager shall be present and available on the premises.
Payment for this position will be a flat rate of $500.00 for every two weeks of work, payed on a regular schedule. Vacation time and reduced hours will be approved by the Managing Director and the Board on a case-by-case basis, with no compensation given for time away. An average of 20 hours per week will be required for a qualified person to complete these duties, but as this is a salaried position, the Studio Manager is asked to work the amount of time it takes to get the job done. Stage Manager and Lighting Coordinator
On November 18th, 2017, I am dancing a solo repertory at the Heritage museum in Lexington,MA. I’m looking for a stage manager and lighting coordinator for this 1+1/2 hour program. There are a few props that need to be set in place before the performance begins. No moving of props is required during the performance.
The museum has its own A/V staff. The coordinator will be in the booth with them to prompt the lighting cues.
The coordinator will need to come to one or two rehearsals in November (dates tbd) in the Boston/Cambridge area, and be available on November 18th for the program in Lexington,MA. This one time contract position is paid.
Previous stage management and stage lighting experience is required.
Candidate must be friendly and professional with a healthy sense of humor.
PT Studio Admin for Boston Ballet Newton
The PT Studio Administrator for the Newton Studio is an integral part of the Boston Ballet School (BBS) administration team & provides support on BBS customer service and day-to-day operational needs. He/she will primarily work in our brand new state-of-the-art Newton location with the opportunity to work in Boston & North Shore studio locations. He/she will act as the main point of contact for customers, staff & faculty on nights and weekends during classes.
