Bookkeeper and Systems Assistant
Jacob’s Pillow Dance is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be joining a dynamic, growing Business office at an internationally-acclaimed dance center that is moving into a year-round structure. Reporting to: Director of Finance & HR, and the Controller.
Responsibilities include: accounts receivables, accounts payable, petty cash reconciliation, and filing for the Business office; contributed revenue recognition as needed for the Development team; and data systems management for Operations. Non-profit experience a plus. Required education:
Associate degree and Required experience: Bookkeeping: 2 years.

Pre-ballet and ballet one teacher for the summer and possibly fall
The position requires that the teacher really enjoy working with children age 3 to 6 and has solid experience. The candidate will observe classes ( Thursday at 4 p.m. , Friday 4 p.m., and possibly Saturday 9:45 and 10:30) to become familiar with our approach to preballet and early elementary training. This is a paid position. The summer program will be June 25 to July 28.
Deputy Director at Jacob’s Pillow
The Deputy Director reports to the Director to achieve these goals and ensure superior functioning in all aspects of the Jacob’s Pillow enterprise. The Deputy oversees the management of finances, facilities, and organization-wide systems and fosters cross-departmental communication and collaboration. The Deputy also oversees marketing and communications and earned-income generation, including retail, rentals, partnerships, advertising, initiatives and special projects. In addition, the Deputy manages all human resources functions. The Deputy should stay abreast of artistic planning and the work of the artistic programs that operate under the Director. The ideal candidate has a passion for dance and brings a proven track record in either non-profit or business management, an entrepreneurial mindset, and demonstrated skills in partnering effectively with diverse people.
Substitute Line Dance Instructor for Senior Dancers
Requesting proposals to teach a continuing line dance class (ballroom style). This program has approximately 12 ongoing participants and space to accommodate up to 24. This would be a temporary teaching contract for 3 months (Feb. – Apr. 2018) with a possibility of extension.

• The class prefers to continue Thursdays from 11am to 12pm.
• Other times would be considered if necessary.
• Professional dance instructor experience.
• Teach seniors safely and build positive relationships.
• Successfully transition into teaching ongoing group.
• Teach different levels in one class or a slightly extended class format
• If selected: CORI background check, state ethics form, W-9, proof of credentials, liability insurance ($1 mil/$2 mil) naming Town of Belmont as additionally insured.
