The Yard 2018 Summer Artist-Internship
The Yard, a non-profit contemporary artist residency and dance performance center on Martha’s Vineyard, in Chilmark, MA, is looking for summer interns for our 2018 Performance Season. The internship focuses both on the administrative facets of an art non-profit as well as an opportunity for skilled dancers and artists to partake in performance and choreographic experiences. The successful candidate should expect to be involved in all aspects of arts management with focus on their individual areas of interest/expertise throughout the summer season.

Director of Education at Urbanity
We are searching for a visionary Director of Education to provide senior leadership and strategy for our School and Community programs. Reporting to the Founder & Director, the Director of Education is full-time, senior level role with a significant portfolio of responsibilities, overseeing both our on-site and off-site programs. These programs include our programs for students of all ages at our South End studios as well as a number of after-school and in-school residencies in schools, and workshops and performances at dozens of partner sites throughout the year. Additional community programs include Movement Mends workshops in DYS juvenile detention centers and other sites, and Dance with Parkinson’s classes in Boston and Cambridge.

Guest artists for live jazz music and dance collaboration performance
We are looking for dancers with experience in improv, classical jazz, and modern dance who have strong energy, a collaborative spirit, take direction well, and pick up choreography and ideas for improv quickly in a fast paced rehearsal.
