Salsa or Salsa/Hip Hop Dance Instructor for the Apollinaire Play Lab
Apollinaire Theatre Company seeks an experienced, well-organized Dance Instructor to teach salsa or salsa/hip hop classes for our youth program, the Apollinaire Play Lab in Chelsea.
Classes run October 3 to December 5 on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30. The instructor will teach two hour-long classes in that time, one for ages 5 and 6, and the other for ages 7-10.
There will also be an end of session showcase on Saturday December 9th where the students will perform.

$50 per class hour

Choreographer for a film project

Tap teacher at Izizwe Dance Studio in North Andover
A brand new up and coming dance studio in North Andover is looking for a quality tap teacher. One tap class is intermediate level and the other is a private lesson to an extremely advanced tap dancer. This opportunity could lead to other teaching positions within the studio and the community. Candidates should have a background in teaching in a studio setting. We are a non-competition studio focusing on technique and artistry so a background in teaching technique is a must.
Jacob’s Pillow Program Apprentice/Assistant to the Directors
This is a new position that will begin as an apprenticeship in September 2017. After a three-month evaluation a decision will be made regarding whether or not the position will shift to permanent with benefits as of January 1, 2018. Apprentices are paid weekly salaries of $500/week, provided with onsite shared housing, and must have access to their own transportation. The ideal individual possesses initiative, a collaborative spirit, and excellent administrative skills including strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate professionally and sensitively with a wide-range of diverse contacts including artists, intern and apprentice applicants, Pillow staff, and the Board of Trustees, and the ability to handle and assimilate multiple projects of varying natures. Success in this role requires someone who is imaginative, highly motivated, service-oriented, and who works in a self-directed manner. A strong knowledge and passion for dance specifically and arts administration generally is required. Familiarity with a festival-paced environment, Jacob’s Pillow Dance, and the Berkshire community are a plus.
Boys’ Hip Hop teacher in Concord MA
The Fenn School in Concord, MA, is seeking an experienced hiphop/street dance teacher for the coming school year. Classes are Mondays and Thursdays 1:45-3:00 September-Thanksgiving, with a possibility to run for the entire academic year. Classes of 8-10 boys in 8th and 9th grade. This is a paid teaching position.
