Luminarium’s 24-Hour ChoreoFest is back – the only twenty-four hour choreography festival in America! Six local dance companies will convene at the Dance Complex to pick themes from a hat and create brand new choreography overnight. The overnight creation period will be broadcast live on the internet, so that anyone can watch and interact with the creative process from start to finish in the privacy of their own home. The participants’ new pieces will debut in concerts on Saturday, September 10 so that curious audiences can see just can be accomplished in one night.

The 2016 participating companies and choreographers are Boston Community Dance Project, Bridges Dance Theatre, Emily Jerant-Hendrickson, Luminarium Dance, Monkeyhouse and Nozama Dance Collective.
