Take the T to Central Square any Tuesday in May and, for a mere $12, see a live concert then have lunch with the performers.As part of Cambridge’s 15th annual celebration of DanceMonth, Coldwell Bankers Residential Realty (1370 Mass Ave) is sponsoring this unique concert and luncheon series, held at The Dance Complex. Each Tuesday, at high noon, people who find themselves in Central Square can see an exciting dance performance followed by a delicious lunch. Tuesday 6 May, Dance Currents will perform dances to music from Bach to Copland, choreography by Kathy Hassinger with Carol Cheung. A tasty lunch will be provided by the ever generous Petsie Pies. Q’doba delicacies will follow the cutting edge performances of Karl Cronin and Marjorie Decker on 13 May. Each soloist, working separately with choreographer Deborah Hay, created a dance based on Ms. Hay’s challenging directions. Boom Boom Boom is the name of Ms. Morgan’s solo; Mr. Cronin calls his, The Runner. Prometheus Dance’s The Elders Ensemble had their debut performance at a Tuesdays@Noon concert. It returns as a Tuesdays@Noon favorite on the 20th with an amazing offering by Jule’s Catering. Tuesday 27 May completes the elegant eclecticism of the series with The Aparna Sindhoor Dance Theater. Offering a program of both classical and her own outstanding contemporary Indian dance, Ms. Sindhoor will be joined by Anil Kumar Sukumara Pillai and Pratheesh Shivandan. Longtime DanceMonth sponsor Whole Foods will provide the repast. Flowers from Central Petals (formerly University Florist) will be on display each Tuesday. Tuesdays@Noon concerts and luncheons are held in the Julie Ince Thompson Theatre at The Dance Complex, 536 Mass Ave, Cambridge. All concerts begin at 12:00 noon. The documentary features interviews with Ms. Childs, Philip Glass, Anna Kisselgoff, Susan Sontag and Robert Wilson, and a collaboration with Mikhail Baryshnikov. Patrick Bensard is director of Cinematheque de la Danse. After the screening there will be a discussion with Lucinda Childs, moderated by Iris Fanger. To be followed by a champagne reception.
