Experience a titanic force in the world of dance! Bill T. Jones, one of America’s most visionary artists and the creative force behind Broadway hits "Spring Awakening" and "Fela!", returns to FirstWorks with the world premiere tour of a thrilling new multimedia work. In "Story/Time", Jones' inventive choreography frames a cascade of poignant, autobiographical short stories, narrated center stage by Jones himself and visualized by his 9-member, international company. With a structural nod to John Cage, "Story/Time" plays on chance to bring music, movement and meaning together – creating each performance anew for a unique ‘first’ in Providence.
