Ticket Services Assistant

Description:		Responsibilities:   The Ticket Services Assistant works with the Ticket Services Manager and will be trained in Box Office operations including but not limited to:     §  Providing superior customer service §  Processing phone, window, mail, fax, and website ticket orders §  Processing exchanges §  Answering questions and educating patrons about Jacob’s Pillow program content and dance in general. §  Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:		Qualifications:   The successful candidate is highly detail-oriented and organized, computer literate, and has the maturity to consistently provide excellent customer service. A background in dance and experience with ticketing software, Theatre Manager in particular, strongly preferred.

Description:		Join one of the most acclaimed dance festivals in the world as we celebrate our 80th Anniversary. From May 22 to August 30, 2012, interns live and work in the beautiful Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts,  in a diverse community of artists, faculty, students and staff.  Free room and board, stipend, and workshops by the Festival staff are provided.  Many qualify for college credit.  Positions Available in:  Archives/Engagement, Artist Services, Business, Fundraising (Institutional and Individual), Education, Graphic/Web Design, House Management, Marketing, Public Relations/Press, Photojournalism, Production, Ticket Services, and Video Documentation. Ticket Services Assistant Manager

Description:		JACOB’S PILLOW DANCE FESTIVAL seeks a Ticket Services Assistant Manager to provide high quality customer service and assist with the management of Jacob’s Pillow Box Office staff. The Ticket Services Assistant Manager will train and supervise interns; educate patrons about programming; troubleshoot and expedite ticketing issues; process ticket orders; and work as part of marketing team to develop, execute, and analyze sales and marketing strategies. Looking for Jazz/ Hip Hop Dancers for a Sweet Sixteen

Ballet Instructor: Community Dance Academy

Description:		Walnut Hill’s Community Dance Academy seeks a part-time ballet instructor for our Middle and Upper Divisions beginning September 2011 with possible additional work in our August summer program. Applicants must have experience teaching ballet and pointe to students ages 11-14 in a reputable classical ballet program and must have received their own training in such a program.
Qualifications:		Experience performing (either currently or previously) in a professional ballet company is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to teach excellent technique while promoting a nurturing, positive environment and must love working with kids. Experience choreographing for this age group is a plus. This position may be combined with either of those above if experience and interest is appropriate.

Ballet Instructor: Community Dance Academy

Description:		Walnut Hill’s Community Dance Academy seeks a part-time ballet instructor for young children in our Preliminary and Lower Divisions. Applicants must have experience teaching preballet and ballet to students ages 4-8 in a reputable classical ballet program and should have received their own dance training in such a program.
Qualifications:		Candidates should have both the ability to teach excellent technical basics and the passion to nurture students’ creativity and love for dance. Hours are negotiable, but Saturday availability is a plus.
