Pre-Professional Studio Seeks Adv Tap &/or Hip-Hop Teachers

Description:		Hello,  I’m seeking part time teachers to teach several levels of Tap (including one VERY ADVANCED level) and/or Hip-Hop for the 2012-2013 School Year. We are a pre-professional studio, NOT a recital or competition school.  While we offer recreational classes, most of our students go on to pursue musical theatre, dance, & acting at top college conservatories and many have professional careers in NYC and LA.  I’m looking for extremely talented teachers who are also friendly, upbeat, kind, and nurturing.  No divas please.  For more information read below and please feel free to visit our website.  If interested in the job, please contact me as soon as possible at juliepaige15@mac.com .  Tap teachers should be well versed in both “show tap” (competition style) and “rhythm tap.”  Tap teachers need to have a college degree in either: dance, musical theatre, education and/or professional performing experience.  I would also consider hiring a responsible college student who is currently working toward a dance or musical theatre degree. Hip-Hop teachers should be well versed in urban style hip-hop.  Hip-Hop teachers do not need to have a college degree in dance, though that would be a plus, along with any professional performing credits. Description:		The Movement Center is currently hiring for the Sept. 2012 school year. The Movement Center is a non-competition studio that is focused on teaching proper technique in a supportive environment. We are looking for teachers for all styles of dance. We are looking for a teacher for the jazz/lyrical program, and a teacher for the tap program. They will be responsible for teaching all levels, children and adults. Additional hours are also available for ballet and modern classes. We are a large studio, 350+ students, and have some great opportunites for qualified teachers. We are looking for teachers who would potentially stay long term.
