Backstage PT is looking for a part-time Physical Therapy Aide. We are a PT owned private practice in lower Allston, specializing in the treatment of dancers, figure skaters, and performing artists. Exact hours are TBD, but will be Monday through Friday, and possible Saturdays for interested candidates. Total anticipated hours will be approximately 25 per week.
Responsibilities will include
• :Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and other treatment modalities as directed by the staff PT.
• Occasionally assist with scheduling patients.
• Assist with general clinic maintenance.
Excellent candidates will work well with a wide variety of patient populations, be able to multi-task efficiently, and be willing/able to guide exercises for patients. Exceptional candidates will have some movement based experience (ballet, pilates/yoga training, athletics, etc.) or massage therapy background. Bacsktage PT uses a large amount of Gyrotonic training as part of it's rehab protocols. Candidates having experience with Gyrotonic will be viewed favorably. |
