Boston Globe Media Forum:
Media Forum to be held on
Wednesday January 18th at 11 a.m. at The Boston Globe.
Free and all are welcome to attend. This forum conducted by 3 – 4 editors at the Globe will focus on exactly what the journalists want to see in press releases, media advisories, and press packets. Find out when the best time to send materials is and what types of photos will lead to gaining coverage. Find out about the types of dance “stories” they are interested in following.
Please contact BDA (info@bostondancealliance.org, 617-456-6295) just to let us know if you are coming in order for us to give the Globe an estimate of numbers. We expect the forum to be approximately one hour and will make sure your questions are answered.
The Globe is located at 135 Morrissey Blvd. (T)Red Line to JFK stop and then it is five minute walk. See map below

This forum will provide a great opportunity to meet editors and journalists, set up an ongoing dialogue and hopefully lead to more dance coverage. Did all of you go on a field trip to your local paper when you were in elementary school? If not, here is your chance. If so, now is your chance re-live a fun time.
