Enjoy a dance lesson with Early Dance specialist and BEMF Dance Director Melinda Sullivan! Acclaimed for her work as a performer, choreographer, director, and teacher, Ms. Sullivan leads two 90-minute classes.

Session One will focus on popular dances of Monteverdi’s time, including the pavane, galliard,and passo e mezzo.

Session Two will focus on ballroom dances from the Baroque period, including excerpts from the Rigaudon from Campra’s Les Fêtes Vénitiennes, and La Forlana from Campra’s Le Carnaval de Venise.

Participants of all levels are welcome. Admission to each session is included with a Festival Week Pass or Day Pass, but limited to the first 50 participants.
