Learn the ins and outs of running a creative business from working artists/educators Seth Lepore and Amy Smith. Participants will be equipped with tools that can be implemented right away, including the fun and effective Business Model Canvas, while having the business-speak explained from an arts-based perspective.
Topics include business models, marketing, public relations, fundraising, fiscal sponsorship, insurance, grant writing, self-producing your work, touring your work regionally and nationally, working with presenting organizations/curators, helpful arts advocates/allies/networks, and life budgeting and financial literacy.
