Nozama Dance Collective is having auditions for our Summer 2016 season on Sunday, April 24th at 7:30pm at Green Street Studios in Studio 2. We will be performing at numerous festivals and concerts throughout June, mid July, and August. We rehearse on Sunday evenings from 7-9pm, with some week day rehearsals prior to performances. Dancers are paid at the end of the Summer for their cumulative work. There is potential to stay on through the 2016/2017 season.
The audition will be in the form of an open rehearsal with company members. A high-energy phrase of our current repertoire will be taught. We are looking for bold, passionate female modern dancers with intermediate/advanced level technique. We love working with women who take risks and can tell a story through their movement. We ask that dancers be professional and able to perform with us regularly throughout the season.
