Dancing Legacy, the performing and teaching ensemble of American Dance Legacy Initiative (ADLI), is gathering submissions from experienced dancers for its 2016-17 Season. We are seeking collaborators who are interested in learning, performing, and teaching our work.
A company of independent dancers, Dancing Legacy is committed to ADLI’s mission of preserving and sharing American dance heritage. In addition to performing in events and residencies, members play a central role in creating and delivering Repertory Etudes (ADLI’s unique keystone program) by taking part in development retreats and conducting teaching residencies with dance students across the country.
Current collaborators are based throughout New York, New England, and beyond, and as such rehearsals are held during intensive blocks surrounding specific events and residencies throughout the year.
