Amber Sloan is a New York City-based choreographer, performer and teacher whose work has been presented by Danspace Project at St. Mark’s Church (DraftWorks and Food for Thought), Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Spoke the Hub, Dance Safari, 92nd Street Y, and others. Sloan has been a member of The Bang Group since 2002 and has also danced with Doug Elkins & Friends, Keely Garfield, Chris Elam/Misnomer Dance Theater, and Sara Hook Dances. She is co-director of Women in Motion, an organization whose mission is to foster female choreographers through commissioning of new work, producing and mentoring.
