This position is an hourly contracted 12 hours per week role that primarily reports to the Community Engagement and Communications Manager, and works collaboratively with all staff, interns and volunteers.
This staff position will
1) Provide immediate and first point of contact to most of our community as they enter into our studios and events, and be informed and up to date as to procedures providing friendly check-in at the front desk and help with any questions our dance students, teachers, and audiences might have, and
2) the position will provide support to all aspects of communications including accurate, consistent press listings, social media updates, website updates, written press releases, graphics and video.
Experience and additional skills:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
2+ years of work experience in the field of dance, performing arts or a related industry
knowledge of and passion for creativity, process in performing arts and arts education
