The Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College invites applications for adjunct dance positions to teach various of levels of technique courses in ballet, modern, tap, jazz and other dance styles. Most dance technique classes are 3 hours/week in two 90-minute sessions. There are approximately 25 students in a section. The adjunct pay rate is $2600/class (for three contact hours). Adjunct instructors are also expected to schedule one office hour/week per section. Qualifications: An earned MFA in Dance and/or equivalent professional experience is required. College teaching experience preferred, particularly experience teaching undergraduates with various learning styles.
