Dean College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach two sections of PFA 195: Looking at Dance to our day students during the Spring 2017 semester. PFA 195: Looking at Dance is a 3-credit class that meets for 3 hours/week. There are approximately 25 students in each section. The adjunct pay rate is $2600/class. The instructor will also be expected to schedule one office hour/week per section. The two open sections are scheduled as follows: • Tuesday & Thursday, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm • Tuesday & Thursday, 4:40 pm to 6:10 pm

Looking for a Hip Hop Dance Teacher starting on January 5th – June 17th. Must have experience teaching Hip Hop to boys & girls ages 5-18. Must be available Thursdays 4:15-7:30pm. Candidate should be able to structure weekly classes, manage a classroom, create choreography for recreational and competitive dancers, and communicate effectively with students and parents.

Intern at the Bates Dance Festival this summer! Options include technical production, videography/media (with Boston’s own Lindsay LaPointe), social media, administration and dance education. Deadline for applications is Feb 1.

Seeking a female dancer for a public performance at North Eastern Crossing from 5pm to 7pm on December 14th. The performance requires improvisation, and the dancer would be performing in costume as one of the Fine Art Superheroes, (an avatar with a thematic focus).

Be the lucky ninth dancer! Urbanity Dance is seeking one more dancer to fill an open position and join our professional company for the remainder of the 2017 season. We are seeking a male dancer with a diverse movement background. We are looking for a positive, open-minded, and collaborative dancer that come from non-contemporary backgrounds. We advocate diversity on every level.
Company classes and rehearsals are January through May on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 10am-2pm. Six absences are excused.

Paid for rehearsals and performances. Pay for the remainder of the season is $4,000-$5,000.
Free classes with master teachers. Company class four days a week, plus free access to any open class at Urbanity.
Opportunities to work with nationally recognized choreographers.
Opportunities to choreograph and produce their own work, with choreographic mentorship from Boston veterans.

Looking for a contemporary teacher with lyrical/modern background for dance studio in Malden. Students are competitive teens – possible 2nd class with younger interested students. Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival seeks an experienced, strategic performing arts marketing specialist to serve as Director of Marketing and Communications. Jacob’s Pillow, widely considered as the dance center of the nation, is home to the longest-running international dance festival in the U.S. and a National Historic Landmark. The Director of Marketing and Communications will set strategy for and lead all efforts related to marketing, ticket sales, audience development, patron services, public relations, and interdepartmental and external communications. Strong candidates will have experience leading successful teams consisting of a minimum of three people, creating ticket sales, digital marketing, and organizational communications strategies.
Please note, we will only consider candidates who can speak to the various forms of dance presented by Jacob’s Pillow and have a working knowledge of performing arts ticket sales.

Dance’n Feet, small senior women’s dance group (jazz, acrobatics) seeks choreographer. We typically learn one 3 minute dance per season (Sept-May) and perform at dance festivals in May and June.
Group practices weekly from 6-7:30 PM
Choreographer would need to work with dancers to teach the dance, but would not need to come to every practice session.
