Auditions

Join José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s 36th annual production of The Nutcracker this holiday season! JMBT welcomes dancers of all backgrounds to audition for its professional company and character roles for the upcoming Nutcracker season. Professional dancers, adult ballet students, and college students are all encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held both in-person at JMBT studios located in Harvard Square and via video submission. Preference will be given to local dancers from the Greater Boston area.

We will be having tryouts for our senior and junior Boston Bhangra teams! Bhangra is a very fun and energetic folk dance from the Punjab region of India/Pakistan. You can learn more about the organization @ www.bostonbhangra.com.

If you have any interest in joining our team, whether you have experience or not, you should definitely tryout! The tryout is all done online and it’s free! All you have to do is fill out this form, include the video that we require, and then attend our Tryout Meeting on Sunday, June 16th @ 9 PM. It’s that simple! Please keep in mind that the form MUST be completed by June 14th or you will be not be provided the link for the tryout video on June 16th. The tryout link is below:

We would start practices on July 14th in Allston MA in person. Practices will be every Sunday from 3-4 PM or so.
