Alive Dance Collective is proud to be presenting its first show “We Dance When Ice Gets Thin” at Green Street Studios on November 18 and 19 at 8pm.

“We Dance When Ice Gets Thin” will aim to put together all of Alive’s work that helps us express when and why we dance: we dance to feel connected, safe, and alive. We dance for well-being. We dance when the ice gets thing. Dance helps us to work through those moments where it feels like the ice will not support us. We rely on each other and on dance to be that support instead.

Alive Dance Collective, along with guest artists Nozama Dance Collective, Sasso & Company, The D’Amby Project, Evolve Dynamicz, and George and Heather Woods will present material that shows how the arts help us to support ourselves and one another in wellness. One third of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Artrelief, an organization in Watertown, MA that provides expressive art therapies to many individuals.
