Join the Boston Arts Consort to hear some of the most passionate and elegant music ever written–the music of Spanish composer Enrique Granados, whose life and legacy is being commemorated all over the world this year and next. Our multi-faceted program will include our arrangements for guitar and piano from the Twelve Spanish Dances, excerpts from his opera “Maria del Carmen”, Spanish dance interpretation, and historic recordings, all ending in a reception of “bocaditos”–tiny tapas!
The Boston Arts Consort is Linda Paptopoli, Piano; Liz Leehey, Clarinet; Devin Ulibarri, Spanish Guitar; Clara Sandler, Mezzo Sporano; Christian Figueroa, Tenor; Eve Costarelli, Flamenco Artist; Ed Milan, Narrator; Luis De Haro, Chef.
