This is the third year that Jean Appolon Expressions (JAE), a professional Haitian-contemporary dance company, is holding the program. Students will take class in modern dance, jazz, yoga, and Haitian folkloric movement with Jean Appolon and JAE company dancers. All participating students will perform in a final show at the Boston Children’s Museum and at a festival at the Dance Complex.

We’re thrilled to be able to offer the program free of charge. We also pride ourselves on the ability to work with a wide range of teens, including those who have been dancing since they could put a ballet shoe on their foot, to those who have only caught the dance bug in recent years. Any students who love to dance and would enjoy strengthening their dance technique at the same time as learning new styles are welcome!

The intensive will take place from 9am-1pm each day from April 16-21 at the Dance Complex. The final performance will take place between 10 and 3pm at the Boston Children’s Museum
