Lara Tinari’s approach to movement focuses on the principle of technique as function, engaging the dance artist both physically and intellectually. Integrating the fundamentals of ballet, modern and improvisational techniques – supportive methodologies including Laban Movement Analysis, Ashtanga Yoga postures and Pilates core work, encourage the dance artist’s creative process, performance acumen and overall strength and sustainability.

Attendees will participate in the choreographic development of Tinari’s work in progress ‘Unicorn: An Autobiography.’ Intended for dance artists who are well versed in the ballet and/or contemporary dance vernacular.

Dancers are encouraged to come to as many workshops as they are able to, though attending all 5 is not required. Drop-ins accepted, pending availability in class. Space is limited. Preregistration recommended.
