An intensive workshop in Baroque dance (European ballroom and theatrical dance of the late 17th and early 18th centuries). Emphasis will be placed on solo repertory, though we will also study a couple dance notated by Pierre Rameau using his “new method” of dance notation.

Suitable for students who have some prior experience with Baroque dance and notation. Taught online via Zoom. Movement sequences will be designed for small spaces.
