The Deep Dance Series Presents: Angie Conte
Class will start by borrowing from fundamental modern techniques to warm the bodies, find awareness / alignment to our current state, and prepare to move through space. A heavy focus on warming the spine, and finding fluidity in the joints will then get us moving across the floor, to further solidify our relationship to the floor and gravity. Phrase work will then focus on exploring different textures to find the most efficient qualities to execute dynamic contemporary movement. The goal being to flow seamlessly through momentum and control.
