Visionary choreographer Alonzo King actively develops bold original works with other artists from diverse disciplines and cultures. World Music/CRASHarts has commissioned Alonzo King LINES Ballet’s new collaboration with tabla virtuoso Zakir Hussain, who has composed music especially for this project and will perform the East Coast premiere on stage, with Sabir Khan playing sarangi. You won’t want to miss this one!

This new commission of the Alonzo King LINES Ballet with Zakir Hussain was made possible through a generous grant as part of the Arts Capacity Building Initiative of the Barr and Klarman Family Foundations.
