AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
VIDEO AUDITIONS
Students who are unable to attend an audition due to extenuating circumstances may submit a video or DVD audition between 8-10 minutes in length. Female students who would like to be considered for partnering classes should wear pointe shoes. DVD/Video auditions must be postmarked by March 1, 2011, with a $25 check (audition fee). Please wear only leotards, tights and appropriate shoes in the video.
Video applicant should send the following:
A completed copy of the Video Audition Application (click here to download)
A 4"x6" headshot
A photograph showing first arabesque in center (see requirements above)
A DVD (see Video Audition Application for details of what to include)
For video/DVD auditions please make sure that the applicant is easily identifiable. Please note that some recordable DVDs may not play correctly and we will contact you in the event that we require another copy. Videotapes, DVDs, and photographs will not be returned.
Enclose payment of $25.00 (check or money order payable to Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre in USD) with above materials to be postmarked by March 1, 2012 to:

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION
Students will be notified of their audition results via email two weeks after the audition date. The email will go out to the email addresses provided on the pre-registration form. Video applicants will be notified by email by March 31, 2012.
TUITION & FINANCIAL AID
Tuition for the full 5-week program is $1,995.
Financial aid is available. Please contact Adina Beer at 617-354-7467 by March 19, 2012 for more information.
HOUSING
Housing is not provided, however, upon request, José Mateo Ballet Theatre may be able to offer assistance in finding housing with local host families. Please call 617-354-7467 for more information. |
