Join us for a hometown From the Floor album release screening and Q&A, as part of Boston Celtic Music Festival 2020!

From the Floor imagines a new way of presenting traditional dance as a “visual album”, with video tracks that bring the viewer into the detailed space the dancers and musicians inhabit when they are making music for each other.

The album features 6 tracks of traditional and original choreography by Jackie O’Riley & Rebecca McGowan in collaboration with Chris Stevens on accordion/concertina, Nathan Gourley on fiddle, and filmed by Louise Bichan.
