Join Boston Dance Alliance on Saturday, September 6th for an annual day of growth, connection and opportunity.
OPEN CALL AUDITIONS
Dancers age 18+ are invited to take up to four classes, each linked to a professional pathway; whether through company auditions, choreography casting, weekly training, or private lessons. From the experienced recreational dancer to the working dance artist, this collection of classes is designed to spark opportunity, foster connection, and provide exposure to the creative voices shaping our dance community. Each teaching artist represents a unique performance aspect within their genre of expertise, and participants are encouraged to explore across styles to gain valuable experience.
DANCER HEALTH
We welcome all participants to take advantage of Wellness Check-ins with visiting MDs specializing in dance physical therapy; offering guidance on common alignment issues, flexibility, and strategies for managing muscle pain.
NEW: Professional Development Pilot Program Forum & Discussion
Participants are also invited to attend a Forum & Discussion co-facilitated by BDA Executive Director Aaron Myers and consulting partner McKersin along with a handful of BDA members who participated in our recent pilot program. These dance leaders will share insights on the assets they’ve developed and how they plan to leverage them to secure more & higher-paying opportunities for their dance practice.
