The Windhover presents “Sound of Memory”
New York City choreographer and former Paul Taylor dancer Annmaria Mazzini returns to the Windhover stage with the program “The Sound of Memory.”
Annmaria Mazzini curates an evening of choreographic and musical meditations about the passage of time, caregiving, loss, and moving through life with a sense of awe. Featuring the collective works of a small company of dancers and musicians renowned for their capacity to provoke thought and generate healing, “The Sound of Memory” explores questions of where in the body memory resides, what haunts us, and what sustains us.

Featuring dances created and performed by Annmaria Mazzini, Jennifer Chin, Jennifer Mabus, Brynt Beitman, and Amanda Stevenson. The Windhover Center for the Arts; Thursday, August 28 and Friday, August 29, 7 PM. A brief discussion and question and answer session with the artists will take place immediately following the performance.
