When you cross the ocean from the homeland, what do you lose, what do you gain, and what do you carry?

Through Bharatanatyam and contemporary dance, natya dance collective centers the memories of ancestors shaped by colonialism and struggle for a better life. We express joy, strength, heartache, and loss as we trace journeys from then and now, finding new forms of community and belonging.
