The program includes I cannot weave—, a poetic work by Associate Artistic Director Nell Mancini that explores sexuality, partnership, and identity through the lens of the Ancient Greek poet Sappho; and Lacanian, a work by Associate Rehearsal Director Nicole Koontz which explores the principles of Lacanian psychoanalysis and dives into its impact on women and other identities when they are valued as status symbols for men without ever “having” the status; among other works.
