Natalie Johnson Dance Audition
Natalie Johnson Dance is seeking company members! We are looking for dancers with refined performance skills and a desire to collaborate and contribute to a creative process that is ongoing, not project-to-project.
An advanced grasp of Modern or Contemporary movement is helpful, but dancers of all backgrounds will be welcome and considered. We will be teaching excerpts of NJD repertory, along with leading a compositional exercise. Warm-up time will also be provided. Come ready to move, create, and collaborate! NJD welcomes all genders, races, ages, and sexualities–just no meanies. If you wish to attend, please contact Natalie: email@example.com. You may send materials such as resume, reel, video, etc., but not required.
This is a contracted position that is compensated with rehearsal AND performance stipends. Rehearsals are on Monday and Wednesday mornings–we suggest auditioning only if that schedule is available to you, or can become available by January of 2020.
Natalie Johnson Dance Audition
This is an audition to join Natalie Johnson Dance as a full company member. NJD will provide warm-up/check-in time, then teach two separate excerpts of company repertory, followed by a compositional exercise. Come ready to move, create, and collaborate. Advanced experience in Modern or Contemporary dance is recommended, and all are welcome. The company rehearses on Monday and Wednesday mornings in Central Square, so it is advised to attend only if that time is available to you, or will become available by January of 2020.
