PPD is currently seeking female and male dancers. A BFA degree is strongly suggested but not required. Dancers must have exceptional contemporary/modern technique, be versatile, and exhibit an athletic abandonment with an artistic approach towards movement.

Hello! Urbanity Dance is auditioning for our Summer Intensive near you. Boston Dates include January 4th from 4-6pm, February 9th from from 10am-12pm, and March 1st from 10am – 12pm. The selective three week program inclues 8 hours of daily instruction in ballet, modern, and contemporary technique from Urbanity Company members alongside esteemed guest instructors. In addition to these techniques, students also have to opportunity to study supplemental styles like jazz, hip hop and improvisation. The intensive creates a space for inspiration from like-minded students from around the country, and provides opportunities to perform at the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival and receive a professional video and photo shoot.

The Florida Ballet’s Summer 2020 Audition Tour is coming to your area! FLB’s Summer Intensive offers a six-week program designed for intermediate through pre-professional dancers. The program exposes students to a variety of styles and disciplines guided by world class faculty.

Led by Roberto Forleo, Associate Artistic Director, this year’s guest faculty include Karin Averty, Paul Boos, Dierdre Miles Burger, and Iliana Lopez.

Students attend daily ballet technique, pointe class, men’s class, variations class, partnering, as well as, modern, contemporary, and jazz classes. In addition, dancers will attend rehearsals for a performance opportunity scheduled at the intensive’s conclusion.

Two-week and four-week sessions are also available. Intermediate/Advanced dancers ages 12+ are eligible to audition.

Seeking cast and crew for the 2020 season of King Richard’s Faire, THE New England Renaissance Festival. The Faire seeks cast and crew for the entire season, running weekends and Monday holidays from September 5th through October 25th in the enchanted woods of Carver, Mass.

Please audition for:

  • Village Cast Members, including a free four-weekend theatre training program
  • Musicians: all types, including but not limited to trumpeters, violinists, bagpipers, drummers, Celtic bands, and keyboardists
  • Acrobats, jugglers and stilt walkers
  • Street performers
  • Singers and dancers
  • Specialty acts
  • Actors and actresses
  • Musical comedy performers
  • Entertainment staff

 

Actors and singers must prepare one monologue and two contrasting songs to be performed acappella. Please bring a current photo and resume if available.
