ABOUT CATALOGUE
An “intricate, almost baroque piece” is how the celebrated choreographer William Forsythe describes Catalogue (First Edition), his new piece for the DANCE ON ENSEMBLE. The idea for the duet came from an intention to highlight the special relationship, shared sensibilities, and coordinative skill set of Jill Johnson and Christopher Roman. They have collaborated closely for a long time, staging many of Forsythe’s works all over the world.

Christopher Roman, Artistic Director of the Dance On Ensemble
Jill Johnson, Senior Lecturer on Music/Theater, Dance & Media and Director of Dance at Harvard University

Harvard University Committee on the Arts (HUCA) gratefully acknowledges the support of: Harvard Library, Harvard Art Museums, Harvard Dance Center, and the Johnson-Kulukundis Family President’s Fund for Arts at Harvard University.
