catch_release is an immersive pole dance production that brings collaborators together across several mediums to imagine an intimate evening of living art. Through pole dance, set design, and sound activation, this installation bridges us between our current reality and a dream world. Inspired by Andrew Wyeth’s painting, Pentecost, this show will be powered by the concept of shapeshifting, both physical and metaphorical, and in our lived truths as humans existing in the in between.
