The Integrated Artists’ Residency Exchange (I-ARE) is a program of The Dance Complex, inaugurated in Fall, 2013, intended to bring an artist’s next steps to intersection with what is next for The Dance Complex, and what is next in the field of dance locally, regionally and nationally. A vital component of the process for artists is to commit to evolution: changing pattern, taking risks and sharing these learning moments with The Dance Complex and dance community through open informal showings, more formal concerts and within other events are all integral to the residency.

In its current incarnation, two artists, Papa Sy and Brian Feigenbaum, have been afforded residency hours at The Dance Complex, creating new work to be shared in a joint program on May 6th, 2018. This performance will also include a guest appearance from Dances by Isadora.
