Boston Center for the Arts hosts world-renowned choreographer Itzik Galili for a special session of Martha’s Salon. In conversation with Debra Cash, Executive Director of Boston Dance Alliance, Galili will share highlights from his remarkable career including commissions from Nederlands Dans Theater, Ballets Jazz Montreal, Batsheva Dance Company, Rambert Dance Company, knighthood for his contribution to Dutch Arts & Culture, and his cultural experience as an Israeli dance maker throughout the world.

Boston Center for the Arts’ community-led conversation, Martha’s Artist Salon is a place for Boston area dancers and fans of dance to connect and engage in productive discussion about performance-based art of the past and today. Martha’s was sparked from members of the community looking for the opportunity to share knowledge, experience, and inspiration about contemporary dance as it is practiced and presented around the world.
