Saving Grace Dance Ensemble: ARTFULNESS
Windhover Performing Arts Center welcomes the New Hampshire-based Saving Grace Dance Ensemble, led by Artistic Director Robyn Movsessian, to its outdoor stage this June. This multi-genre, intergenerational evening of dance will also feature Ballet Lighthouse (NH), Bayside Tap Company (RI), Douglas Davis Ballet (NH), Nadine Delano/Poet (MA), Dirigio Conservatory (ME), solo artist Michael Dascomb (NH), Freedom in Motion (NH), Miss Kelsey’s Dance Studio (NH), Maine Dance Company (ME), NSquared Dance Company (NH/NYC), Russian Ballet Academy (NH), Safe Haven Ballet (NH), Speaking in Taps (Greater New England), and others.
Saving Grace Dance Ensemble will present several new works along with repertory from last season. “Festival,” a fun contemporary ballet with choreography set to Michael Torke’s “Unseen” opens the program with carnival props and celebratory movement. A new modern/contemporary work by Movsessian entitled Sacred Wildness celebrates empowerment and spiritual courage.
Performances are rain or shine. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the magical Windhover grounds before the show.
