Inspired by modern burlesque stars like Dita von Teese and Immodesty Blaize, and burlesque legends like Zorita or Evangeline, The Boston BeauTease decided it was time to go big! A giant set piece — like a martini glass or rocket ship — is one of the staples of the art of burlesque. In THE BIG TIME, The Boston BeauTease present a night of larger than life acts featuring big props and bigger talents.

The core members of the troupe (Mina Murray, Betty Blaize, and Pearl Buttons) are joined on stage by The Boston BeauTease Irregulars, hardworking students hoping to break into THE BIG TIME! Ruby Foxx makes her East Coast solo burlesque debut with a hard-boiled number that would make Sam Spade proud; Devastasia heats things up with her giant candelabra; Jeannie Martini saves for a rainy day with her piggy bank; and Cara Siobhan chases waterfalls.
