The contract runs for 25 weeks from mid-September to mid-May with layoff weeks in between. The pay ranges from $400-$500 a week, depending on the contract position. The contract also includes: Physical Therapy with a partnership that we have with Upstate Medical in Syracuse, a strength/conditioning program in partnership with Strides of CNY, and a certain amount of shoes and tights for classical performances.
Our 25/26 season, Momentum includes:
– Dracula with choreography by AD, Jayson Douglas
– The Nutcracker (at home in Syracuse and 2 tours – in Oswego, NY, and Cornwall, Ontario, Canada)
– Our Voices (a mixed rep show showcasing Black choreographers)
– Art Is… (a world premiere with music by musician Diane Jones)
– other Community Performances sprinkled throughout the season.
