Experiential Boredom – Run of the Mills movement workshop
Presented by Boston Center for the Arts & New Movement Collaborative
How we think shapes how we move, how we dance shapes how we think. Paying attention to the relationship between dancing and thinking might positively destabilize our interactions with ourselves, each other, and the material world around us. Asher Woodworth and Hana van der Kolk facilitate an experimental dance workshop that explores just that.
Informed in their approach by such dance innovators as Min Tanaka and Deborah Hay, and by a shared dedication to meditation, improvisational dance practices, community-building, and feminist thought and action, this workshop is open to movers of all types.
No dance experience necessary, all are welcome ages 15 and up
