One day only! Groovement’s back at Cambridge Foundry!

Groovement is about finding a sense of comfort and groove within the container of a structured dance class that emphasizes rhythm, musicality, authentic expression, and joy. Instructor dana e. fitchett shares the movement that comes most naturally to her: a hybrid reinterpretation of her experiences dancing at home, in studios, and in clubs.

Class soundtrack spans Afro and soulful house, Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, reggae, and more.

Groovement is an Afrocentric, QTBIPOC-friendly, liberation-focused, hate-free, pro-love space. All levels, all ages welcome. Comfort with music and movement is helpful. Sweats or other danceable clothes and sneakers suggested.
