Boston Open DanceSport and its Director Kalin Mitov are the organizers of the only Same-Sex Dance Competitions in New England. Тhe 2017 Provincetown Dance Trophy is both a dance competition, and a public declaration of the need for equality at all levels of our lives.

Our first annual dance competition was held on September 2013 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Those events are extremely successful, with over 120 participants from Europe, Canada, and The United States. They have being endorsed by former Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, former Governor Deval Patrick, current Mayor Martin Walsh and  State Representative Sarah Peake.

Boston Open DanceSport is committed to building local interest to encourage people to start dancing themselves.
